Exercise Description and Instruction:

This version of the Bicep Curl is done on a bosu ball with your legs raised and works your core and your biceps at the same time. Most gyms have a bosu ball, which looks like a ball cut in half with one flat side.

In this exercise you place the flat part of the bosu on the ground, sit on the inflated side, and curl the dumbbells at the same time. Your abs stay contracted throughout the set.

To Perform This Exercise:

  1. Grasp a dumbbell in each hand and sit on a bosu.
  2. Keep your legs together and your knees bent.
  3. Draw in and hold your abs and keep your back straight.
  4. With you arms extended to your sides, curl and contract your biceps, bringing your forearms towards your shoulders.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position.

Tips:

  1. Try to keep your balance steady and not move your legs throughout this exercise.
